Our heroes are known as The Fearless Five; in the realm of Oerth, their might is legendary. They are without equal in skill and prowess. Their allies rejoice in their presence, and their enemies tremble at their approach. They are landed nobility, each being the partial ruler of a barony, and commander of an army with which to defend it. These heroes bring new meaning to the term "epic". It is said that The Fearless Five answer directly to the gods themselves, and that Solars covet the chance to serve them. The heroes make their home in the fortress formerly known as Maure Castle, now called The Hold of The Five. The Fearless Five swears allegiance to the City Of Greyhawk, the Kingdom of Furyondy, the Kingdom of Keoland, and the Kingdom of Celene. Their lands and armies are under the direct sovereignty of the City of Greyhawk, although they will come quickly to the aid of any of their sworn allies. The last time this was necessary was when Iuz's armies invaded the Kingdom Of Furyondy; The Fearless Five not only sent their armies afield, but also intervened directly, crushing the humanoid armies with frightening efficiency. The "invasion" lasted all of two weeks.
          The Fearless Five are: Feridan Lenslowe, hero of the "Great Small War" against the Goblins of the Dim Forest; he is a warrior, a priest, and the leader of the group. He dresses like a farmer in his off time, and can usually be seen carrying a scythe. But make no mistake: his weapon is capable of far more than the mere harvesting of wheat.
          The second member is Dengar The Bold, known far and wide as "The Miracle Man", for his uncanny ability to turn the tide of seemingly hopeless battles toward the group's favor. He is the high priest of Rudd, and overseer of the temple in the City Of Greyhawk.
          Third, is Shokindo Chi'Lan, commonly known as "Sho". This dark and mysterious monk is said to be faster than the wind itself. It is said that his very touch is so lethal, it can stop even the mightiest Dragon dead in his tracks. Only his Sensei, Louis Galvanor, can claim to approach his skill in combat. And there are those who whisper that Shokindo's prowess has surpassed even that of his teacher's.
          The fourth member of The Fearless Five is Idhimus Greenleaf, the legendary High Archer of Celene, said to be one of the greatest Elven bowmen to ever live, next to Thelondrian Derithan (a hero of ancient times) and Mildanka Firebird (an up and coming heroine, said to be Derithan's direct descendant). Idhimus wears the fabled Scales Of Velgimoth, a suit of armor crafted from the scales of the mightiest Red Dragon to ever live. As a result, it is said that flames roll off of the Elven archer like water off a duck's back.
          The final member of The Fearless Five is Jynx Maylosu. Jynx is a swordsman of great reknown, and prefers the open sea to dry land. Hence his nickname, "Jynx The Pirate". Jynx wields two Nipponian blades known as Katanas, and is said to resemble a tornado in melee combat, because of the speed with which he swings them. Jynx got his nickname when he single-handedly defeated an entire crew (16 men) of pirates, when they attempted a raid on Jynx's ship. Instead of adding a new ship to their fleet, Jynx ended up adding a new ship to his.
          The Fearless Five also have many strong allies; among which are Ellis Kvar, The Heirophant Druid of The Vesve Forest, Delbin Arcanus, The Grand Arch Mage of The Greyhawk Wizard's Guild, as well as Tellerian Hawke and Nimbar The Watcher, who were once known as The Brothers Of Justice (they were also both members of the legendary adventuring group known as The Firebrands).

DM NOTE: The Fearless Five range in levels, from 33rd to 44th. The average party level is 42. I have been running this campaign on and off for several years, and I have watched the party grow from a struggling group of misfits, into the most powerful adventuring group that I have ever seen in my entire D&D career. DMing for this group has been extremely rewarding. Nowadays, we don't have the time to play as much as we used to, so I have resorted to this: we now play via forum messages on PHPBB-Planet, and the summary timeline of what has been going on now appears here, on this page. Coldeven 07, CY 913	Tellerian Hawke, Nimbar The Watcher, Feridan Lenslowe, and Shokindo Chi'Lan journey into the Abyss to rescue Eledain The White (The fabled White Centaur) from the clutches of the demon lord, Kuulvar. In the attempt, Hawke & Nimbar are imprisoned. Feridan and Shokindo fight the demon lord to a stand-still, but decide to retreat in order to bring in reinforcements.
Coldeven 09, CY 913	Feridan and Shokindo return with Dengar, Mildanka, and Ellis in tow. In an epic battle, in which the demon lord has brought re-inforcements of his own (an Abyssal Red Wyrm, and a demi-god Fiendish servant) the party manages to defeat the demon lord and destroy him utterly, leaving rulership of his plane contested by demon lords from nearby planes. Hawke, Nimbar, and Eledain are freed from their imprisonment, and the party returns to the Prime Material plane with an enormous horde of loot, gathered in haste from the demon lord's palace.
